An admitted attorney, Ziyaad has right of appearance in the High Court of South Africa and has also appeared in the Supreme Court of Appeal.

Ziyaad holds a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of the Witwatersrand in Energy Law, Environmental and Sustainable Development Law, Advanced International Trade Law and Mining and Prospecting Law. He is passionate about building a sustainable future for all and as such, seeks to also address the current climate emergency.

He also holds a BCom degree from the University of South Africa and an LLB from the Rand Afrikaans University (now the University of Johannesburg). Committed to social justice and human rights, Ziyaad has also represented many clients and NGO’s in local and international human rights matters.
